Gregor is an architect trained at the University of Stuttgart, where he completed his master’s degree in architecture and urban planning with distinction in 2021. His early background in carpentry and interior design informs a practical understanding of materials, construction and spatial expression that continues to shape his work. During his studies, he developed projects characterised by conceptual clarity and technical precision across a range of interdisciplinary contexts.

He gained professional experience in offices including Zürn Architekten in Stuttgart and Cukrowicz Nachbaur Architekten in Bregenz. His final project, supervised by Prof. Markus Allmann and recognised by Prof. Dr. Philipp Ursprung, reflects an interest in the relationship between spatial design, research and cultural context. Following his graduation, he worked freelance with Müller Architekten BDA and contributed to competitions and studies with several practices across Germany and Europe.

In 2023, he held a teaching position at the Institute for Spatial Conception and Fundamentals of Design at the University of Stuttgart and later joined the chair of Prof. Sonja Nagel, focusing on building theory and design. His academic work has included international workshops, exhibitions and excursions across Europe.

Gregor understands architecture as a contextual and transformative practice grounded in observation and precise intervention. Through his freelance work, he became a founding collaborator of A KIND OF SPACE, where he develops projects across research, design and built work.
